Estimation Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Estimation Engineer with strong experience in the construction industry to support tendering and project cost estimation activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, and assisting in competitive bid submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Perform quantity take-offs for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Analyze subcontractor and supplier quotations and prepare cost comparisons.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams during the estimation process.
• Assist in the preparation of tender submissions and clarifications.
• Identify potential risks, cost variances, and value engineering opportunities.
• Maintain and update cost databases and market rates.
• Support management with commercial and bidding analysis.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Minimum 4–7 years of experience as an Estimation Engineer in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and market pricing.
• Experience in tendering for building, civil, and/or infrastructure projects.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Proficiency in estimation tools and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tender deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in GCC construction projects is an advantage.
• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and tendering procedures.
