Estimation Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Estimation Engineer to join our Oil & Gas projects team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documentation, supporting bid preparation and project planning activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and budgets for Oil & Gas projects
• Review and analyze tender documents, RFQs, drawings, and specifications
• Perform quantity take-offs and cost analysis
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams
• Evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations
• Identify cost risks, assumptions, and value engineering opportunities
• Support bid submissions and tender clarifications
• Maintain cost databases and historical records

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Civil / Electrical or related field)
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Estimation Engineer
• Proven experience in the Oil & Gas industry
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation, BOQs, and tender documents
• Ability to analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with EPC contractors
• Familiarity with international Oil & Gas standards and codes
• Experience with project cost control or planning is an advantage
