Estimation Engineer

Role Overview

You are responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates by analyzing project drawings, specifications, and other documentation. This role plays a key part in supporting project bids and ensuring profitability while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review tender documents including drawings, specifications, and BOQs to prepare accurate cost estimates for interior fit-out projects.
• Take off quantities from drawings and prepare a detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
• Liaise with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations.
• Analyze project risks and propose cost-effective alternatives or value engineering options.
• Prepare cost comparison sheets and pricing summaries.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and project management teams to ensure alignment on pricing and scope.
• Participate in tender review meetings and provide necessary clarification to management.
• Update estimation databases and maintain historical cost data for future reference.
• Ensure estimates comply with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.
