Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive construction estimates by analyzing project drawings, specifications, and bid documents using industry-standard software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to gather necessary data for accurate cost estimation.
• Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and cost analysis for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.
• Develop and maintain cost databases to ensure pricing accuracy and consistency across projects.
• Assist in negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable terms while maintaining quality standards.
• Support project management teams by providing cost control insights throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review construction site conditions and integrate site-specific factors into estimates to enhance accuracy.
