Estimation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for FM services (HVAC, soft & hard services).
• Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, and scope of work.
• Conduct site visits to assess facilities and project requirements.
• Prepare tender documents, pricing schedules, and commercial proposals.
• Coordinate with operations, procurement, suppliers, and subcontractors for pricing.
• Evaluate vendor quotations and perform cost comparisons.
• Identify value engineering and cost optimization opportunities.
• Assist in tender negotiations and post-tender clarifications.
• Maintain estimation records, cost databases, and benchmarks.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
• Proven experience as an Estimation Engineer in Facilities Management or related field.
• Strong knowledge of FM services and maintenance contracts.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and estimation tools.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Valid driving license (mandatory).
• Good communication, analytical, and time-management skills.

Preferred

• Experience with AMC/FM tendering.
• Knowledge of local market rates and suppliers.
• Familiarity with CAFM systems.
• Professional certifications are an added advantage.
