Estimation Engineer

We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Estimation Engineer specializing in the Electrical Field. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimations, technical proposals, quantity take-offs, and tender submissions for electrical distribution projects. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of busbar systems, electrical drawings, and estimation software tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and commercial proposals for Busbar Trunking System projects.
• Study tender documents, specifications, BOQs, and electrical drawings.
• Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and project documents.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for material pricing and technical compliance.
• Prepare technical submittals and project documentation.
• Generate AutoCAD 2D & 3D drawings related to busbar layouts and routing.
• Support sales and project teams during tendering and project execution stages.
• Maintain estimation records, project costing databases, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with client specifications, standards, and project requirements.
• Attend client meetings and technical discussions when required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Related Field
• 1–2 years of experience in estimation of Busbar Trunking Systems or electrical distribution systems.
• Basic knowledge of electrical load calculations and power distribution systems.
• Experience in tendering and project estimation.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D)
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and technical drawings
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent time management and attention to detail
