Estimation Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Estimation Engineer with a strong background in District Cooling, Civil Infrastructure, and Mechanical Works. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, tender submissions, quantity take-offs, and commercial evaluations for infrastructure and district cooling projects across the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and tender pricing for civil and mechanical works.
• Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and project documents.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Analyze project risks, opportunities, and cost implications.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams during bid preparation.
• Prepare technical and commercial bid submissions within stipulated deadlines.
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and tender clarification meetings.
• Maintain cost databases and historical pricing records.
• Support post-award handover and budget preparation activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5–8 years of UAE experience in estimation and tendering.
• Proven experience in District Cooling Networks, Chilled Water Pipelines, ETS Works, Utility Infrastructure, and Civil Construction Projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices, contract requirements, and authority regulations.
• Proficiency in quantity take-off, cost estimation, and tender preparation.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and estimation software.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight tender deadlines.
