Estimation Engineer for Fit-out

We Are Hiring An Estimation Engineer for Fit-Out prepares cost estimates for interior fit-out projects by reviewing drawings and specifications, performing quantity take-offs, and gathering quotes from suppliers and subcontractors. Key responsibilities include collaborating with internal teams (design, project management), preparing bids, negotiating with clients, and supporting the project team with cost control during execution. The role requires strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with a Bachelor's degree in a related field and experience in the local market being essential. Key responsibilities

• Cost estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and budgets for interior fit-out projects, including materials, labor, and subcontractor costs.
• Tender preparation: Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to prepare competitive and accurate bids. Manage pre-qualification and pre-bid submissions and ensure all documentation meets client requirements.
• Liaison and negotiation: Contact suppliers and subcontractors to get quotes, and participate in post-tender negotiations and client clarifications.
• Collaboration: Work with architects, designers, project managers, and other internal teams to ensure estimates are accurate and align with project scope and vision.
• Cost control: Support the project team by providing estimation breakdowns, monitoring actual costs against estimates, and assisting with variation claims.
• Analysis and reporting: Analyze project drawings and specifications to identify potential risks, cost savings, or value engineering opportunities. Maintain accurate records of estimates for future reference.

Qualifications and skills

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience: Previous experience in estimation for interior fit-out projects, with specific knowledge of the local UAE market rates, materials, and suppliers being a common requirement.
• Technical skills: Proficiency in estimation software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel). Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and estimation techniques.
• Soft skills: Excellent analytical, numerical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills are critical. Strong communication and teamwork abilities are also essential.
• 3 Years of Experience is Mandatory
• UAE Experience is preferred
