Key responsibilities<ul><li>Cost estimation and budgeting: Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment; develop project budgets and forecasts, monitoring expenditures to prevent overruns.</li><li>Contract administration: Draft tender documents, evaluate contractor bids, and help negotiate and manage contracts. Oversee compliance with contractual terms and handle variations.</li><li>Financial control: Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase, identify areas for cost savings, and implement value engineering to optimize budget use without sacrificing quality.</li><li>Documentation and reporting: Prepare and issue tender documents and addenda, and create reports detailing costs and project progress for clients.</li><li>Collaboration and communication: Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to understand requirements, discuss project changes, and resolve commercial issues.</li><li>Payment verification: Review and verify contractor payment applications and claims, ensuring they align with the work completed.</li></ul>Required skills and qualifications<ul><li>Education: A Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field is often required.</li><li>Experience: Previous experience in Fit-out &amp; Concrete repair works in UAE is mandatory.</li><li>Skills: Strong mathematical ability, analytical thinking, negotiation skills, and excellent attention to detail are crucial.</li><li>Technical knowledge: Familiarity with construction, building codes, and software for cost management is necessary.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month

QS Estimation Engineer with prove work experience in UAE

We Are Hiring An Estimation Engineer for Fit-Out prepares cost estimates for interior fit-out projects by reviewing drawings and specifications, performing quantity take-offs, and gathering quotes from suppliers and subcontractors. Key responsibilities include collaborating with internal teams (design, project management), preparing bids, negotiating with clients, and supporting the project team with cost control during execution. The role requires strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with a Bachelor's degree in a related field and experience in the local market being essential. Key responsibilities<ul><li>Cost estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and budgets for interior fit-out projects, including materials, labor, and subcontractor costs.</li><li>Tender preparation: Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to prepare competitive and accurate bids. Manage pre-qualification and pre-bid submissions and ensure all documentation meets client requirements.</li><li>Liaison and negotiation: Contact suppliers and subcontractors to get quotes, and participate in post-tender negotiations and client clarifications.</li><li>Collaboration: Work with architects, designers, project managers, and other internal teams to ensure estimates are accurate and align with project scope and vision.</li><li>Cost control: Support the project team by providing estimation breakdowns, monitoring actual costs against estimates, and assisting with variation claims.</li><li>Analysis and reporting: Analyze project drawings and specifications to identify potential risks, cost savings, or value engineering opportunities.
