Position: Estimation Engineer (Interior & Civil)

Department: Estimation / QS

Location: (Andheri–Sakinaka)

Reporting To: Project Head / Operations Head

Experience: 3–7 years

Industry Preference: Interior Fit-out, Civil & Architectural Works

Role Overview:

The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, rate analyses, and material take-offs for interior and civil works for commercial turnkey projects. The role requires coordination with architects, designers, vendors, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

BOQ preparation & quantity take-off for interior, civil, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and finishing works.

Cost estimation, rate analysis, and material/labour costing.

Vendor management and market rate sourcing.

Tender preparation, comparison sheets, and commercial documentation.

Coordination with architects and project managers; site visits when required.

Assistance in project cost monitoring and budget control.

Strong knowledge of interior materials, civil works, and services.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel (advanced), and estimation tools.

Ability to read civil, interior, and MEP drawings.

Good analytical, numerical, and vendor coordination skills.

Knowledge of hospital planning norms is an added advantage.

Qualifications:

Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Interior Design / Architecture.

QS/Estimation certifications preferred.
