Estimation Engineer - Interior Fitout- Mumbai

Require candidate for our client, a reputed manufacturer of bespoke wooden furniture.

Job Overview:

The Estimation Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for furniture manufacturing projects by analysing materials, labour, and production processes. They perform quantity take-offs, rate analysis, and collaborate with design, production, and procurement teams to ensure cost-effective and feasible project execution. Their work supports budgeting, pricing, and value engineering decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the estimation process for furniture manufacturing projects, considering materials, labour, and other associated costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and specifications.
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs from architectural drawings and project specifications.
• Rate Analysis of all the manufactured products.
• Verify and manage the quantity and quality of materials required for each furniture manufacturing project.
• Collaborate closely with the design and production teams to ensure accurate cost assessments aligned with project requirements.
• Provide cost-related insights to support value engineering and design decisions

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of experience in cost estimation within the furniture, interior fit- out, or Civil industry.
• Proven expertise in quantity take-offs, rate analysis, and material costing.
• Hands-on experience with technical drawings, BOQs, and estimation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Excel, ERP tools).
• Experience working closely with design, production, and procurement teams to align costs with project requirements.
• Familiarity with woodworking materials, furnishing components, and production techniques is essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
