Estimation Engineer - MEP & Civil experience

• Generate cost estimates for MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) in civil construction projects
• Responsible for reviewing enquiries related to MEP requirements and support the estimators in preparation of all required MEP requirements/calculations.
• Prepare work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
• ‏Knowledge in international building codes used in modular building manufacturing and construction industry specifically for UAE .
• ‏Coordination with related internal departments and prepares requisitions for vendors and follow-up on the status.
• ‏Support in preparing any tendering documentation for external bidding within the timelines.
• ‏Work on multiple company bids simultaneously and delivering in accordance with deadline objectives.
• ‏Operate and maintain proficiency in all internal estimating systems, technologies, and software.
• Other duties as requested by the estimation manager or management.

Qualification & Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years of extensive experience in the modular construction industry or maintenance or relevant experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• ability to read and process documents such as contracts and subcontracts, statistical reports, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• ability to read and fully understand project drawings, blueprints, specifications, and RFQ’s
• Skill in Managing multiple projects with precision and speed.
• Basic understanding of pricing terms
• Experience with Civil estimating services is a plus
• Proficiency in mathematics, statistics and data analysis
• Report writing and strategic planning skills.
• Familiarity with analysing requirement data to develop material and cost estimates for large projects.
• Expertise with analytic tools, such as spreadsheets and database managers
• Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of accuracy in estimations
