Estimation Manager – Joinery

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimation Manager – Joinery to lead our pre-contract tendering and cost estimation function. You will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive, and profitable bids for joinery and interior fit-out projects across the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

· Review tender documents, BOQs, specifications, and drawings to prepare comprehensive cost estimates

· Analyze architectural and interior design drawings to extract accurate material and labor quantities

· Prepare detailed tender submissions within strict deadlines

· Calculate material costs (timber, veneers, laminates, hardware, glass, solid surfaces)

· Estimate labor hours for carpentry, polishing, installation, and site works

· Source and negotiate with suppliers/subcontractors for competitive pricing

· Factor in overheads, profit margins, and risk contingencies

· Liaise with architects, interior designers, main contractors, and clients for clarifications

· Collaborate with production, procurement, and project teams to ensure estimate feasibility

· Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as required

· Develop and maintain a comprehensive cost database and rate library

· Standardized estimation templates, checklists, and workflows

· Track won/lost bids to refine future pricing strategies

What We're Looking For

· Experience: 7–10 years in joinery estimation

· Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

· Deep knowledge of joinery materials, construction methods, and finishing technique

· Ability to read and interpret architectural, interior, and shop drawings
