Estimation & Tendering Manager – Civil Construction Contracting

Work Description:

• Lead and manage the entire tendering process from enquiry to submission.

• Review tender documents (drawings, BOQs, specifications) and identify scope of work, risks, and cost impacts.

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects including materials, labour, equipment, and subcontract works.

• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and subcontractors to gather pricing and technical inputs.

• Develop value engineering proposals to optimize costs and improve competitiveness.

• Ensure timely submission of tenders and pre-qualification documents.

• Participate in tender clarifications, negotiations, and post-tender meetings with clients/consultants.

• Maintain updated cost databases, suppliers, and subcontractor rates.

• Prepare regular reports on bid performance, win/loss analysis, and market trends.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (Master’s preferred).

• 7+ years of experience in estimation and tendering for a civil construction contracting company in The UAE/GCC.

• Strong knowledge of UAE construction market rates, codes, and authority requirements.

• Excellent understanding of BOQ, drawings, and contract terms.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimating software (Candy/CCS preferred).

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
