Estimator

  • Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates.
  • Analyze project requirements, scope of work, and client expectations to develop detailed cost breakdowns.
  • Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates for civil, structural, architectural, and MEP works.
  • Request and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to validate pricing strategies and assumptions.
  • Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals, bid summaries, and tender clarifications.
  • Participate in pre-tender and post-tender meetings with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
  • Track and update market rates for labor, materials, and subcontracting to maintain competitive pricing.
  • Support value engineering, cost control, and risk assessment exercises.
  • Maintain estimation databases, historical cost records, and project benchmarking tools.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–6 years of estimation experience in the UAE/GCC construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, market rates, and estimation software (e.g., CCS Candy, PlanSwift, AutoCAD, MS Excel).
  • Experience in pricing for different types of projects (e.g., buildings, infrastructure, fit-out, MEP) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with UAE tendering processes and local regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
