Estimation Engineer

Estimation Engineer who can prepare accurate cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for construction and engineering projects by analyzing project specifications, drawings, and materials to determine required resources, labor, and costs. They play a crucial role in the initial project phase, creating detailed proposals and working with various teams to ensure proposals align with project requirements and company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Cost Analysis: Analyze technical drawings, specifications, and contracts to perform detailed cost estimations.
Proposal Development: Prepare detailed cost proposals, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and tender submissions.
Resource Management: Research and source materials, labor, and equipment costs for projects.
Collaboration: Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
Risk Assessment: Identify and assess potential risk factors and fluctuations in cost to mitigate future problems.
Vendor Management: Source and negotiate with subcontractors and vendors to secure cost-effective pricing.
Documentation: Maintain and update templates for cost/price, terms, and competitive data for future proposals.

Strong technical, mathematical, and analytical skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
High level of organization and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Educational Background:
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in a relevant engineering field, such as Electrical Engineering.
A certification in estimation engineering from a recognized international organization, like RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), may also be beneficial.

Experience:

  • 0–2 years of relevant experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
