Job Title - Senior FM Estimator

Location - Dubai

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Conduct technical and commercial site visits during tender processes, including verification of quantities, area measurements, asset sampling, and assessment of logistical constraints.
• Prepare accurate cost build-ups, BOQs, pricing schedules, rate analyses, and cost models for FM maintenance, fit-out, retrofit, industrial installations, and minor works.
• Develop pricing assumptions, inclusions/exclusions, clarifications, and ensure alignment with scope boundaries, SLAs, and KPIs.
• Coordinate with procurement to obtain and normalize vendor/subcontractor/OEM quotes; maintain updated cost and productivity databases.
• Collaborate with operations and technical teams to validate maintenance strategies, staffing models, mobilisation costs, and spares lists.
• Support bid reviews, negotiations, tender submissions, and prepare value-engineering proposals with cost/risk/time impact assessments.
• Participate in the mobilisation planning for newly awarded projects and ensure smooth handover with full pricing and procurement breakdowns.
• Ensure compliance with HSEQ standards, UAE regulatory requirements, and international quality standards while minimizing operational risks.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of estimating/QS experience in FM, fit-out/retrofit, industrial works, and minor projects (UAE/GCC preferred).
• Strong technical understanding across soft/hard FM, MEP, ELV, civil, and architectural trades; ability to read drawings/specs.
• Proficiency in measurement, take-offs, unit-rate build-ups, productivity benchmarking, and basic knowledge of FIDIC/contract conditions.
• Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups); working knowledge of AutoCAD (read) and MS Project.
• Familiarity with SFG20, CIBSE/ASHRAE standards, and FM maintenance norms.
• Strong commercial awareness, communication, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under tight tender deadlines with strong time-management skills.
• UAE Driving License (mandatory).
