About the Role

We are a premium architectural hardware company specializing in high-end door systems, ironmongery, and fittings, serving leading developers, contractors and fit-out companies across the UAE.

We are seeking a technically strong and commercially aware Estimation Engineer to handle tenders, BOQs, and RFQs, delivering accurate and competitive quotations. This is a hands-on role involving estimation, warehouse alignment, and site-level technical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, BOQs, and specification sheets to clearly understand project scope and requirements. Extract and interpret architectural hardware specifications, ensuring full alignment with consultant and project standards.
• Prepare detailed and accurate quotations with clear item descriptions, quantities, and pricing structures, ensuring all submissions are complete, professional, and aligned with client requirements. Compile and submit full proposal packages including technical datasheets, delivery timelines, and commercial terms.
• Work closely with internal teams including sales, warehouse, and procurement to ensure pricing accuracy, stock visibility, and alignment with company margin structures. Maintain cost control and ensure all quotations adhere strictly to internal pricing guidelines.
• Provide value engineering solutions where appropriate, offering technically compliant and commercially viable alternatives. Manage multiple RFQs simultaneously and ensure all submissions are completed within strict tender deadlines.
• Support project execution by providing technical clarification on product selection, installation methods, and application requirements. Conduct site visits where required to assist clients, contractors, or internal teams with installation guidance and troubleshooting.
• Actively engage with the warehouse on a regular basis to build strong product familiarity and ensure alignment between quotations and physical stock. Support material identification, verification, and coordination to maintain accuracy between quoted items, available inventory, and dispatch requirements.
• Contribute to internal capability by supporting basic training and guidance to sales, warehouse, and operations teams on product application, installation practices, and common technical queries.

Experience & Qualification

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering preferred. Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in estimation is mandatory, specifically within architectural hardware, door systems, ironmongery, or closely related building materials.
• Candidates must have hands-on experience in BOQ analysis, tender handling, and preparation of independent quotations based on project specifications.
• Experience in interior fit-out or joinery will be considered only if the candidate has demonstrated exposure to hardware-related estimation and specification-based projects. UAE project experience is preferred.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
