Position: Estimator – Fit-Out & Joinery

Key Responsibilities

• Review project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to understand scope and requirements.
• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for fit-out, joinery, and MEP works.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure alignment on scope and pricing.
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, and negotiate competitive rates.
• Compile and submit tender documents in accordance with client requirements and deadlines.
• Perform value engineering to optimize costs without compromising quality.
• Assist with post-tender clarifications and support budget monitoring during project execution.
• Maintain and update records of material costs, labor rates, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in estimation within the fit-out and joinery industry.
• Demonstrated experience in preparing cost estimates and tender submissions for small to mid-scale projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
