Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Estimator with proven experience in aluminum and glazing systems, particularly in facade projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of materials, fabrication, and installation techniques used in facade systems for commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments.

The Estimator will be responsible for preparing precise cost estimates, analyzing tenders, and coordinating with project managers, clients, and suppliers to deliver high-quality and cost-effective facade solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cost Estimation:

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for aluminum and glazing systems, covering materials, labor, equipment, and overheads.
• Ensure all estimates meet project specifications and profitability targets.

2. Tender Analysis:

• Review project drawings, BOQs, and specifications to determine scope, materials, and technical requirements.
• Identify risks or discrepancies and provide appropriate clarifications or solutions.

3. Material & Labor Sourcing:

• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain updated quotations for materials and labor.
• Ensure all cost data reflects current market conditions.

4. Reporting & Documentation:

• Prepare and submit detailed tender documents, cost breakdowns, and project timelines.
• Provide value engineering and alternative material suggestions for cost optimization.

5. Design & Technical Support:

• Collaborate with the design team to review drawings and suggest cost-effective design solutions.
• Support project managers during the transition from estimation to execution.

6. Client & Team Coordination:

• Liaise with clients for technical clarifications and pricing discussions.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure project alignment, accuracy, and timely delivery.

7. Risk & Market Analysis:

• Identify cost, timeline, or scope risks and propose contingency measures.
• Stay updated on market trends, new materials, and innovations in facade technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in aluminum and glazing estimation, with a focus on facade projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and estimation software.
• Strong understanding of UAE market pricing and supplier networks.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
