Estimator – Metal Industries

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for metal fabrication, structural steel, and related projects.
• Analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine material requirements and labor costs.
• Request and review supplier and subcontractor quotations for materials and services.
• Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and cost breakdowns for tender submissions.
• Collaborate with the engineering, production, and procurement teams to ensure project feasibility and cost efficiency.
• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
• Monitor market trends, material prices, and labor rates to maintain updated costing data.
• Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and tender documents within deadlines.
• Support project managers during post-award stages for budget control and cost tracking.
• Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and revisions.
