Estimator / Draftsman (Joinery)

We are seeking a qualified Estimator/Draftsman to join our joinery division. The role involves preparing precise cost estimates, detailed shop drawings, and technical documentation for bespoke joinery works. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, designers, and production teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to project specifications and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and material take-offs for custom joinery projects.
• Review architectural and interior drawings to extract detailed joinery requirements.
• Develop detailed 2D/3D shop drawings and production layouts for manufacturing and client approval.
• Coordinate with project, design, and production teams to ensure drawings align with site and fabrication requirements.
• Maintain and update estimation records, technical drawings, and related documentation.
• Ensure all drawings and estimates comply with company standards, material specifications, and client expectations.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience of 3+ years as an Estimator/Draftsman in a joinery or furniture manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of SketchUp or 3D software is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of joinery materials, finishes, hardware, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail with strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced production environment.
