Estimator – Fit-Out

The Estimator – Fit-Out will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for design and build fit-out projects, including interior design, joinery, glass, and furniture works. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of materials, finishes, and fit-out processes to ensure competitive and profitable project pricing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze project drawings, specifications, and tender documents for fit-out and interior design projects.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, subcontractors, and equipment.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and project management teams to gather necessary project information.
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
• Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ), cost breakdowns, and pricing summaries.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide value engineering solutions.
• Assist in tender preparation, submission, and post-tender clarifications.
• Maintain an updated database of suppliers, subcontractors, and material costs.
• Support the project team during negotiations and project handover.
• Ensure all estimations comply with company standards, client requirements, and project timelines.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Estimator in fit-out, interior design, joinery, glass, or furniture projects in Doha or the GCC region.
• Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, finishes, and construction methods.
• Proficient in estimation software (e.g., Excel, AutoCAD, and CostX or equivalent).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
