Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator – Fit-Out to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for interior fit-out projects while ensuring profitability, quality, and compliance with client requirements. The role requires strong analytical skills, advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, and solid knowledge of fit-out materials, vendor sourcing, and market pricing within the Saudi market.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare BOQs, detailed cost estimates, and tender submissions for interior fit-out projects.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and client requirements to ensure accurate estimation.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, and Macros for estimation and reporting.
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, procurement, and site teams to align project scope and costings.
• Maintain and update databases for materials, labor costs, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Verify technical drawings and specifications to ensure complete project scope coverage.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide value engineering recommendations.
• Assist in preparing variation orders and project cost analysis when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in estimation within the interior fit-out or contracting industry.
• Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC market is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and BOQ preparation.
• Knowledge of Saudi market pricing, suppliers, and sourcing strategies.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tender deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with estimation software and ERP systems.
• Familiarity with commercial, retail, hospitality, and office fit-out projects.
• Knowledge of value engineering and cost control techniques.
