Estimator – Fitout & Joinery

We are currently seeking a dedicated Estimator to join our growing team and play a key role in the accurate cost estimation and project pricing for our interior fit-out and joinery projects.

Role Objective:

To prepare accurate and competitive project estimates with proactive risk management and value engineering for fit-out and joinery projects, contributing directly to business growth and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and BOQs to assess scope and requirements.
• Conduct detailed quantity takeoffs for joinery, finishes, MEP, and interior works.
• Source material costs, liaise with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather quotes.
• Prepare cost estimates including material, labor, equipment, overheads, and margins.
• Work with design and procurement teams to propose cost-effective alternatives (value engineering).
• Prepare and submit competitive bids, tender documents, and budgetary proposals.
• Support project managers with budget control, variations, and commercial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with local UAE regulations and client requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and estimation records for ongoing and completed projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in estimation within the fit-out and joinery industry (UAE experience is a MUST).
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related technical field.
• Proficiency in estimation software (e.g. Planswift, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Excel).
• Strong knowledge of material specifications, market rates, and vendor sourcing in UAE.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tenders simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with local authority guidelines (Dubai Municipality, DCD, Trakhees) is a plus.
• Prior experience working with Design & Build firms or Turnkey projects.
• UAE driving license.
• Knowledge of joinery detailing and modular furniture estimation.
• Experience in value engineering proposals and cost optimization techniques.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,500.00 per month
