We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our furniture manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for production, materials, labor, and project requirements—supporting our sales and operations teams with timely and competitive quotations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for custom furniture, kitchens, wardrobes, doors, and joinery works.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and client requirements to determine materials, finishes, hardware, and labor costs.
• Coordinate with the production team to verify material consumption, machining processes, and production rates.
• Develop pricing for quotations, tenders, and project proposals, ranging from small works to large-scale projects.
• Analyze supplier quotations and negotiate material pricing when needed.
• Maintain an updated database of material costs, labor rates, and production costs.
• Ensure accuracy, competitiveness, and timely submission of estimates.
• Work closely with sales, designers, and production to finalize costing and resolve discrepancies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the furniture, joinery, or fit-out industry (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of wood, panels, hardware, finishes, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and client specifications.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP or estimation software is a plus.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
