Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Estimator with experience in shipbuilding and ship repair to join our team in Kochi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing technical drawings, and coordinating with clients and internal teams to ensure competitive and profitable bids.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates for ship repair and new-building projects.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tenders.
• Collect material, labor, and subcontractor costs for pricing.
• Prepare bid summaries, quotations, and proposals.
• Coordinate with production, design, and procurement teams for input on project costs.
• Ensure all estimates comply with yard standards and client requirements.
• Support management in pricing strategy and cost optimization.
• Maintain estimation records and project cost data.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical / Marine / Naval Architecture Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–6 years of experience in estimation within shipbuilding or ship repair industry.
• Strong understanding of marine systems, materials, and repair processes.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation tools.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
