Job Description & Summary

At PwC, our people in finance consulting specialise in providing consulting services related to financial management and strategy. These individuals analyse client needs, develop financial solutions, and offer guidance and support to help clients optimise their financial performance, improve decision-making, and achieve their financial goals.

In financial operations at PwC, you will specialise in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations within organisations. Your work will involve assessing financial processes, identify areas for improvement, and design and implement solutions to streamline financial operations, enhance controls, and reduce costs. You will be responsible for providing guidance on financial systems implementation, process automation, and financial shared services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations across core accounting processes such as procure -to-pay, record-to-report, order-to-cash, and general ledger.

  • Ensure accurate processing of financial transactions and adherence to internal policies and procedures.

  • Conduct quality reviews and internal audits to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and internal controls.

  • Monitor service level performance and implement corrective actions to address deviations.

  • Apply financial analysis and modeling to support decision-making and performance tracking.

  • Oversee workload distribution and progress reporting for the accounting team.

  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to enhance efficiency and streamline processes.

  • Lead initiatives to improve service delivery based on internal feedback and operational observations.

  • Support the execution of internal finance programs and contribute to achieving departmental objectives .

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting , Finance, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in accounting or finance roles within internal operations.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
