ETL Developer-Banking

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented ETL Developer with strong expertise in SSIS, Informatica Data Engineering Integration (DEI), SQL Server/T-SQL, ETL development, and Data Warehousing concepts. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in banking domain projects and a proven ability to design, develop, and optimize data integration solutions that support business intelligence, reporting, and analytics initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain ETL processes and data integration solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Build, optimize, and support ETL workflows using SSIS and Informatica Data Engineering Integration (DEI).
• Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views in SQL Server.
• Implement data quality, validation, reconciliation, and error-handling processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence platforms by delivering optimized and reliable data sources.
• Monitor ETL jobs, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root cause analysis to resolve data-related problems.
• Optimize ETL and database performance through tuning and best practices.
• Collaborate with business users, analysts, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, process flows, data mappings, and operational procedures.
• Ensure compliance with banking data governance, security, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in testing, deployment, and post-implementation support activities.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices in data integration and data warehousing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in ETL development and data integration projects.
• Strong expertise in SSIS, Informatica DEI, SQL Server, and T-SQL.
• Solid understanding of ETL methodologies, data modeling, and Data Warehousing concepts.
• Experience working in Banking or Financial Services domain projects.
• Strong knowledge of data validation, reconciliation, and data quality processes.
• Hands-on experience in performance tuning and optimization of ETL workflows and SQL queries.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting ETL failures and production support activities.
• Experience with Apache Hive and Apache Impala is preferred.
• Knowledge of Python for data processing and automation is a plus.
