EV Charger- Senior Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance and Repair

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for EV charging infrastructure.
  • Conduct routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, coordinating with external vendors and suppliers.
  • Provide technical guidance and on-the-job support to junior engineers and maintenance staff.

Technical Expertise and Standards

  • Establish and maintain technical procedures and maintenance standards in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures to ensure safe operations.
  • Develop and enforce safety procedures and protocols for maintenance activities.

Quality and Performance

  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics of EV charging systems to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Implement quality control and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain high standards.
  • Prepare and present quality and performance reports to stakeholders.

Project Management

  • Manage small-scale maintenance and upgrade projects, including planning and scheduling.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project objectives.
  • Monitor project budgets, timelines, and risks, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.

Stakeholder Management and Communication

  • Ensure effective communication with project teams, contractors, clients, and authorities.
  • Prepare and present regular progress and status reports, including coordination with Kahramaa representatives.
  • Work closely with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment.

Other Responsibilities

  • Perform additional related duties as assigned by the line manager to meet operational requirements.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and safeguard sensitive organizational data.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical equipment maintenance, preferably in the transportation sector, with 2–3 years of GCC experience.
  • Relevant certifications such as CEE, CMRP, or PMP are an advantage.
  • Strong skills in electrical maintenance, technical troubleshooting, project management, and quality assurance.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: QAR15,000.00 - QAR15,500.00 per month
