Evening and Weekend Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Night and Weekend Teacher to join our vibrant educational team. Duties

  • Provide attentive care to children during evening and weekend hours, ensuring their safety, well-being, and emotional comfort.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive behavior management techniques to foster a respectful and inclusive environment.
  • Support children’s developmental milestones by implementing tailored activities that promote cognitive, social, and motor skills.
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians by communicating children’s progress, behavioral observations, and any concerns in a clear and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and assessments in accordance with childcare regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, health guidelines, and licensing requirements related to childcare and early intervention programs.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is essential; preschool or daycare experience is highly valued.
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, special education needs, early intervention strategies, and classroom management techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop engaging curricula that incorporate literacy education, math skills, physical education, and Montessori methods where applicable.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
  • Familiarity with standardized testing procedures for early learners and tutoring strategies to support individual student needs.
  • Experience working with diverse populations including children requiring special education or early intervention services.
  • Ability to adapt lesson plans for toddlers or preschoolers while maintaining a nurturing environment focused on child welfare.
  • Knowledge of behavior management techniques suitable for young children in both daytime and after-hours settings.
  • Certification in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; ongoing professional development is encouraged.
