Event Childcare Manager Needed - Contract Position - June 11-14 & June 25-28

Sitter Scout provides full-service childcare services throughout the United States. We specialize in Event Childcare, In Home Childcare and vacation/hotel childcare. We employee over 150 employees and are known for our quality of caregivers and high level of service.

We are currently in need of an experienced childcare provider with supervisory or management experience to lead a team of caregivers during a 3 day corporate retreat event. Qualified candidates are caregivers who are comfortable leading a team of other caregivers in a daycare like setting providing childcare to a group of approximately 25-30 children for 3 days. We ask that all applicants have experience caring for children ages infancy to 12 years old.

EVENT DATE(S): 2 Programs - Thursday, June 11th, 2026 - Sunday June 14th & Thursday June 25th - Sunday, June 28th (Thursday and Sunday are travel days if needed, programs are on Friday and Saturday)

RATE OF PAY: $40/hour with lucrative bonus opportunities

Event will be taking place at a local resort in Tamarack, ID

JOB DUTIES:

• Recruit 5-6 caregivers to fill the Event Childcare Team (Sitter Scout will do the employment processing) - bonus for recruiting will be given
• Keep caregivers engaged up to and through the event dates
• Ensure all caregivers show up to the program, are attentive to the children and performing high standards of care
• Work on-site from Thursday - Sunday (lodging will be provided each night if needed)
• Provide basic childcare training to Event Team prior to and during the program
• Manage the team for the 2 day program
• Develop an agenda of activities for the caregivers to follow
• Manage all paperwork before and during the program
• Be the main point of contact to the on-site client and represent Sitter Scout management
• Be the main point of contact for the parents during the event
• Be main point of contact between Sitter Scout and the Event Childcare Team
• Provide high quality childcare to children ages newborn to 12 years old in a daycare like setting
• General care for infants/toddlers (diaper changes, bottle feedings, facilitating nap times, etc)
• Be able to pick up children with ease and no weight limitations
• Perform additional childcare duties as needed and directed by Sitter Scout Management.

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of team supervisory or management experience
• Minimum of 2 years childcare experience (in home babysitting/daycare/classroom setting)
• Must be 18yo or older
• High School Graduate
• Willing to become CPR and First Aid Certified
• Able to provide 3 references to show management ability and childcare ability
• Willing to have a full background check done
• Be available for all days/times of the 3 day program
• Have reliable transportation to/from the event
• Fully vaccinated caregivers preferred
