Responsibilities and duties

  • Client consultation: Meet with clients to understand their needs, set event goals, and discuss budget requirements.
  • Planning and logistics: Develop comprehensive event plans, including timelines, seating, and entertainment.
  • Budget management: Create and manage event budgets, ensuring all costs remain within allocated amounts.
  • Vendor coordination: Research, book, and manage all third-party vendors, such as caterers, decorators, and AV suppliers.
  • Venue selection: Research and secure suitable venues for events.
  • Staff management: Hire, brief, and supervise event staff and volunteers.
  • On-site execution: Oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of events, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Post-event evaluation: Conduct post-event analysis and gather feedback to identify areas for improvement.
