We’re looking for an Event & Learning Management (ELM) On-Site Support Associate to bring energy, organization, and creativity to our team. This is a full-time onsite role, reporting to the ELM Manager, with a base location in Umraniye/Istanbul. You’ll work closely with internal teams, vendors, and event partners to ensure smooth coordination and outstanding delivery. Some weekend or after-hours support may be required depending on event schedules, and occasional travel may be part of the role. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Provide onsite support for Medtronic Innovation Center (MIC) events (HCP, Distributor, Internal, and regional)
- Conduct pre-event room setup checks and manage MIC stock (e.g., pens, notebooks, lanyards)
- Oversee AV, IT, and Wi-Fi setup, resolving any onsite technical issues
- Serve as the main onsite contact for all participant needs, requests, and last-minute changes
- Manage catering operations, including vendor coordination, quality checks, and feedback collection
- Oversee printable and marketing materials distribution and onsite setup; handle last-minute printing needs (e.g., badges, certificates)
- Use the On Arrival tool for participant check-ins and attendance tracking
- Coordinate with ELM on travel, transfer, and logistics updates
- Share feedback and improvement suggestions to enhance event quality and efficiency
- Support compliance-related tasks to ensure events align with Medtronic Business Conduct Standards (BCS) and other company policies collaborating with the Compliance team
- Additional tasks might be requested based on the business processes of the team.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field
- 1+ years of experience in event operations, onsite support, or compliance-related coordination
- Fluency in English both written and spoken as well as Turkish as a native language
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Attention to detail, flexibility, and problem-solving mindset
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
