The Events Logistics Specialist performs specialized administrative and operational duties to deliver student programs or services for the Marshall Student Center. The Events Logistics Specialist is responsible for the effective operation and administration of a wide variety of activities, services and programs that promote student development and enhance the USF student life experience.
The Events Logistics Specialist encompasses responsibilities such as securing equipment, supervising the opening and closing of facilities, and managing security, maintenance, and safety protocols. A key component involves supervising and developing student staff through recruitment, training, and leadership, fostering a positive and productive work environment. The Specialist will also be responsible for enforcing university policies, addressing emergencies or conflicts proactively, and collaborating with event planners and operational teams to deliver high-quality, seamless events.
This position requires a high school diploma and four years of related experience. Appropriate college coursework may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
