Event Program Manager

Carter Murray is excited to be working with a prestigious events organisation on a Program Manager role in Riyadh.

The Event Program Manager is responsible for planning, developing, and delivering the content and structure of high-profile events. This includes creating agendas, designing session formats, and ensuring alignment with the event’s vision and objectives. The role involves researching global trends, identifying and inviting speakers, managing communications, and collaborating with internal teams for seamless execution. The program Manager will also drive innovation by introducing new ideas and concepts to enhance engagement. Strong research and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interact confidently with senior stakeholders are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and structure event content and session formats.
• Conduct research on topics, trends, and speakers.
• Manage speaker outreach, invitations, and communication.
• Collaborate with marketing and database teams for program execution.
• Prepare reports related to programs and speakers.
• Drive innovation by introducing new concepts and formats to enhance engagement.

Experience:

• 5+ years of event content experience/program development
• Background in event content development (sector-specific or cross-sector).
• GCC experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong research and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
• Curious, well-informed on global trends, and creative in problem-solving.
• Confident in engaging with senior stakeholders.
