Event Sales Associate (Design + Detail Focused)

West Coast Event Productions is a leading event planning, design, and rental company serving the Pacific Northwest. For more than 40 years, we have partnered with clients to create exceptional events through creativity, precision, and attention to detail.

We are seeking an Event Sales Associate who combines strong organizational discipline with an appreciation for design and can operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.

This role requires someone who can take complex, fast-moving information and turn it into clear, accurate documentation while keeping multiple events organized and on track. You will work directly with sales leadership to translate client conversations into detailed contracts, track multiple events simultaneously, and ensure that all information is accurate, organized, and up to date.

Success in this role requires someone who is structured, proactive, and comfortable working in an environment where priorities shift and expectations are high.

What You’ll Do

  • Translate client and sales conversations into accurate contracts and proposals
  • Track and manage details across multiple active events simultaneously
  • Maintain high-volume data entry with speed and accuracy
  • Ensure all client selections, updates, and changes are clearly documented
  • Provide clear updates on event status, outstanding items, and next steps
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies before they become issues
  • Support client communication with professionalism and clarity

What You Bring

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously without losing clarity
  • Strong listener who can translate conversations into precise documentation
  • Experience in event planning, interior design, hospitality, or a related field
  • Appreciation for design, layout, and aesthetics
  • Fast, accurate typing skills and comfort with high-volume data entry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Confident working independently and taking initiative
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
