About the Role

The Event Sales Manager plays a key role in attracting new business, managing client relationships, and ensuring QNCC remains the preferred destination for conferences, exhibitions, and corporate events. This role combines strategic sales planning with hands-on client engagement to deliver commercial success and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) and corporate sectors.
  • Manage the entire sales process — from prospecting, pitching, and proposal development to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, government entities, and event organizers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Event Planning, Marketing) to ensure smooth event delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to guide pricing and promotional strategies.
  • Represent QNCC at trade shows, networking events, and industry forums.
  • Meet and exceed individual and departmental sales targets.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in event, hospitality, or convention sales, preferably in Qatar or the GCC.
  • Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of event sales processes, especially within the MICE sector.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: QAR10,000.00 - QAR12,500.00 per month
