BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER - CONSTRUCTION SECTOR :-
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Officer to identify growth opportunities, establish and maintain client relationships, and drive revenue for our construction business. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the construction industry, strong networking skills, and a proven ability to generate leads and convert them into profitable business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research & Analysis:
- Analyze construction market trends, client needs, and competitor activity.
- Identify emerging sectors and business opportunities (private/public projects).
- Lead Generation & Client Acquisition:
- Source and develop new clients through networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and digital platforms.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations for potential clients.
- Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction to secure repeat business and referrals.
- Bid Management & Proposal Coordination:
- Collaborate with the tendering team to identify and respond to RFPs, RFQs, and prequalification documents.
- Support the preparation of technical and financial proposals.
- Sales & Revenue Growth:
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals that benefit both the client and the company.
- Strategic Planning:
- Assist in the development and execution of business development strategies.
- Monitor project pipelines and align opportunities with business capabilities.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, and client communications in CRM.
- Provide regular reports and forecasts to senior management.
