The role involves coordination with engineering, commercial, and site teams to ensure timely delivery and compliance with specifications, local regulations, and client standards in Qatar.Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement &amp; Vendor Management<ul><li>Manage end-to-end procurement of MEP materials, equipment, and subcontract works</li><li>Prepare and issue RFQs, RFPs, and tender documents for MEP packages</li><li>Evaluate technical and commercial bids in coordination with engineering and QS teams</li><li>Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, payment terms, and contracts</li><li>Prepare purchase orders and subcontract agreements</li></ul>Technical &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Review MEP technical submittals and ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and QCS (Qatar Construction Specifications)</li><li>Coordinate with consultants and clients for approvals of materials and vendors</li><li>Ensure compliance with local authority requirements (Kahramaa, Civil Defense, Ashghal, etc.)</li></ul>Project Coordination<ul><li>Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and planners to align procurement schedules with project timelines</li><li>Track material delivery schedules and resolve supply chain issues</li><li>Monitor supplier performance and handle variations, claims, and non-conformances</li></ul>Cost &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Support budgeting, cost control, and value engineering initiatives</li><li>Maintain procurement logs, material tracking sheets, and vendor databases</li><li>Prepare procurement reports, comparison sheets, and progress updates</li></ul>Logistics &amp; Site Support<ul><li>Coordinate logistics, shipping, customs clearance, and local deliveries</li><li>Ensure materials are delivered to site on time and in accordance with approved submittals</li><li>Support site teams with technical and procurement-related queries</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering</li><li>Minimum 5&ndash;8 years experience in MEP procurement within Qatar or GCC</li><li>Strong knowledge of MEP systems (HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, Electrical, ELV)</li><li>Experience working with contractors or large-scale construction projects</li><li>Familiarity with Qatar market suppliers and authority approvals</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Strong negotiation and vendor management skills</li><li>Excellent understanding of MEP specifications and drawings</li><li>Knowledge of QCS, Kahramaa, and Civil Defense requirements</li><li>Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)</li><li>Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines</li></ul>Preferred<ul><li>Experience in high-rise, commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects</li><li>Immediate availability or transferable residency (if applicable)</li><li>Valid Qatar driving license (advantage)</li></ul>Job Type: Full-time
