Duties

• Supervise all aspects of event setup, execution, breakdown and flips to ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, catering teams, and venue staff to meet event specifications and timelines.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure the best terms and services for events.
• Upsell additional services or packages to clients to enhance event value and revenue.
• Manage guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a memorable experience for attendees.
• Develop detailed event plans, timelines, and checklists to organize all logistical elements efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, health standards, and venue policies throughout each event.
• Lead a team of staff during events, providing clear instructions and support for optimal performance.
• Lead end of night transitions from one event to the next.

Skills

• Background in event planning and/or management with attention to detail and organizational excellence.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality standards.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in banquet operations and/or restaurant/hotel settings is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, team members, and guests.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
