Rec Haus is a modern arcade bar and entertainment venue featuring craft cocktails, elevated food, arcade games, bocce, shuffleboard, bags, putter pong, pool tables, and private events. We’re focused on creating an energetic, social atmosphere where guests can play, compete, celebrate, and connect.

We are looking for an outgoing, organized, and creative Events & Entertainment Coordinator to help grow our private events, tournaments, leagues, and community engagement.

Position Overview

This role combines event planning, hospitality, entertainment programming, and customer relationship management. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys working with people, and has a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.

ResponsibilitiesPrivate Events & Group Sales

  • Respond to event inquiries and booking requests
  • Coordinate birthday parties, company outings, reunions, rehearsal dinners, and private events
  • Conduct venue tours and help customize event packages
  • Manage deposits, contracts, timelines, and guest communication
  • Coordinate event logistics with kitchen and bar staff
  • Serve as the main point of contact during events

Entertainment & Community Programming

  • Organize and run tournaments, leagues, and recurring events
  • Develop weekly entertainment programming and themed nights
  • Coordinate brackets, sign-ups, prizes, and announcements
  • Help build recurring guest engagement and community participation

Marketing & Promotions

  • Assist with promoting events through social media and in-house marketing
  • Help create event flyers, promotions, and community outreach
  • Build relationships with local businesses, schools, sports teams, and organizations
  • Encourage customer reviews, social sharing, and repeat business

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused personality
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Nights and weekend availability required
  • Hospitality, events, entertainment, or restaurant/bar experience preferred
  • Social media and marketing experience is a plus

Compensation

  • $40,000 annual base salary
  • 5% commission on booked private event revenue
  • Opportunity for additional performance bonuses
