We are looking for a Senior Manager, HR Generalists to support our People Managers and Employees. Reporting to the VP, People Operations and Rewards, you will act as a thought partner to business leaders, while ensuring consistency, compliance, and quality in the employee experience. You’ll oversee day-to-day employee relations, daily HR issues, performance management coaching and deliver high-quality HR services across the organization —while also mentoring and developing a high-performing HR team. As the ideal candidate, you are a hands-on, strategic HR leader with experience managing HR teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment—someone who excels at balancing strategic partnership with operational execution and is energized by solving problems and supporting leaders and employees through change.

What you’ll do:

  • Play a key role in developing and executing HR strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of two HR Generalists supporting multiple business units
  • Interpret, apply, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
  • Oversee complex employee relations issues and ensure resolution in alignment with legal requirements and company values.
  • Counsel managers on setting performance goals and conducting evaluations. Support managers in addressing performance issues and developing improvement plans.
  • Manage the exit process for departing employees (e.g. prepare separation agreements and manage offboarding procedures).
  • Use HR data and metrics to inform decisions, identify trends, and improve outcomes
  • Build and leverage key partnerships with HRBPs, Legal, Payroll, Benefits and other people related function.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.

What we are looking for:

  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a people management role
  • Proven success in a high-growth, fast-paced environment—ideally in tech or software
  • Strong experience in employee relations, performance management, and coaching leaders at all levels
  • Strong expertise in global employment laws and compliance, with emphasis on the U.S., Canada, UK, Australia, and New Zealand.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trust
  • Strategic mindset with strong operational execution skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive situations with empathy, sound judgment, and discretion
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 and HR systems. Workday HCM experience preferred.
  • Experience leading a remote team and/or supporting leaders located in multiple time zones.

Where: Remote, US
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation:

EverCommerce is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $160,000 -180,000 USD + variable bonus per year in most US locations. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US. EverCommerce considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, candidate’s work location, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as, market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
