Job Summary:
This Associate Attorney position will report directly to the Managing Partner of Evictions and the firm’s National Eviction Outsourcing Platform. The attorney will work alongside the evictions’ support staff and carry their own caseload across the State of California. The ideal candidate has been licensed in California for close to - or more than – five years – and is comfortable with Court hearings and motion practice. Experience with jury trials and additional licensing in Oregon and Washington is a significant plus. Other candidates with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Plaintiff or Defense-Side eviction law, or other related experience representing landlords, tenants, creditors and/or loan servicers are encouraged to apply for consideration.
In this position you will need to possess the willingness to work in a team as well as the ability to be self-driven and work independently whenever needed. You will need to proactively stay abreast of the laws, ordinances, and general legal landscape affecting landlord and tenants’ rights in the State of California (and additional states of licensure, if applicable). The individual in this role must take ownership of their assignment and work product. Direct communication with clients is expected and required. This job does not require the direct exercise of supervisory responsibilities; however, you are expected to manage a caseload in conjunction with assigned staff as the responsible attorney.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position is entirely remote, as the firm’s California office is located in Long Beach, CA.
