DISC Surgery Center is seeking a [classification] EVS Aide for our [location] location. This location specializes in Spine, Orthopedic, and Pain management procedures. The EVS aide plays a pivotal role in supporting Registered Nurses and Doctors in the Operating Room.

In this position, you will:

• Perform general cleaning of the facility, patient care area and staff spaces

• Equipment maintenance

• Handle specimen transport

• Assist with room turnover and case set up

• Assist in patient transfers to/from the OR, including discharge

• Load, unload and stock supplies

• Provide pre-op support and aid the OR team in positioning of patients and preparation

To ensure success in this role, you should have:

• Prior EVS background required, adhering to strict infection control guidelines and comprehensive understanding of OSHA guidelines

• The ability to lift 25 lbs

• Familiarity with medical terminology, equipment, and operating room protocols and preferred

• Sterile processing expertise is a plus!

Pay Range: $18.00 - $25.00
