Excavation Laborer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and heavy equipment operation, along with a commitment to safety and teamwork. This role involves working on various construction sites, keeping an eye on the machine, shooting grade, and assisting with a range of tasks to ensure project completion.

Duties

• Perform mechanical maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Shooting grade and watching the position of the excavator.
• Drive the company truck carrying the materials safely to and from job sites.
• Filling / fueling the truck and off-road tank.
• Stock / load materials.
• Knowledge of the location of the tools and materials on the truck.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment on-site.
• Follow oral and written instructions from supervisors and contribute to the overall success of the project.
• Tolerance for extreme heat and extreme cold.

Experience

• Previous experience in construction or related fields is preferred.
• Familiarity with construction site operations and safety regulations is essential.
• Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues.
• A valid driver’s license is REQUIRED.
• Clear driving record for the past 3 years (no suspensions or serious violations)

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
