Excavator Operator

We are looking for a Excavator Operator who will be responsible for operating excavators and related heavy equipment to perform digging, trenching, loading, and other earthmoving tasks at construction, mining, or infrastructure project sites. The operator ensures the safe and efficient use of equipment, performs routine maintenance checks, and follows all safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate excavators for excavation, trenching, backfilling, grading, and material handling.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections to check fuel, oil, hydraulic systems, and general machine condition.
• Perform routine maintenance such as lubrication, cleaning, and minor adjustments.
• Ensure safe and efficient handling of equipment at all times.
• Follow site plans, blueprints, and supervisor instructions for excavation requirements.
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and other workers to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain accurate records of operating hours, fuel consumption, and any issues.
• Adhere strictly to workplace safety rules and regulations.
• Safely load and unload trucks or transport vehicles with excavated material.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid Excavator Operator License or Heavy Equipment Operator Certificate.
• Minimum 2–5 years of proven experience operating excavators in construction, civil works, or mining projects.
• Good knowledge of excavator functions, attachments, and safe operating techniques.
• Ability to interpret worksite drawings and instructions.
• Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Strong awareness of safety protocols and hazard management.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
