Job Title: Excavator Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Excavator Operator to operate heavy equipment for construction, excavation, and earthmoving projects. The operator will be responsible for digging, grading, loading, and site preparation while following safety and project guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate excavators to dig trenches, foundations, and holes
• Load and move soil, rocks, and construction materials
• Perform grading and leveling according to project plans
• Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance issues
• Follow all safety rules and site procedures
• Work with site supervisors and crew members
• Read and follow basic site plans and instructions
• Keep the work area clean and organized

Requirements & Qualifications

• Previous experience as an excavator operator (preferred)
• Knowledge of construction site safety practices
• Ability to operate equipment smoothly and accurately
• Basic understanding of equipment maintenance
• Physical ability to work outdoors in various conditions
• Valid operator certification or license
