Excavator Operator

Qualifications & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification is an advantage)
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience operating excavators, preferably in construction projects
• Valid operator license/certification as per local regulations (Oman/GCC preferred)
• Experience in real estate and infrastructure projects is an advantage

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate excavators for earthworks, trenching, grading, and material handling
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of machinery in accordance with project requirements
• Follow instructions from site supervisors and engineers for excavation activities
• Maintain proper equipment logs and operational records
• Assist in loading/unloading materials and site preparation activities

Technical Requirements:

• Strong understanding of excavator controls, functions, and capabilities
• Basic knowledge of machinery mechanics and troubleshooting
• Ability to read and follow site plans and excavation layouts
• Familiarity with different soil conditions and excavation techniques

Health, Safety & Compliance:

• Adhere strictly to HSE policies and safety procedures
• Ensure safe operation to prevent accidents, damage, or hazards
• Participate in toolbox talks and safety training programs

Skills & Competencies:

• Good coordination and machine handling skills
• Strong awareness of surroundings and safety practices
• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions
• Physically fit and able to work in site conditions

Pay: RO150.000 - RO170.000 per month
