About the Role

We are looking for an Exchange Rate Strategist to join our growing fintech team specializing in international remittances and cross-border payments.
The Exchange Rate Strategist will play a key role in developing, managing, and optimizing exchange rate strategies to maximize FX revenue, improve competitiveness, and enhance customer experience, while ensuring alignment with business objectives and market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement exchange rate strategies across different remittance corridors
Monitor live FX markets, competitor rates, and partner bank pricing to ensure competitive positioning
Optimize FX spreads and margins while balancing customer acquisition and retention
Analyze transaction volumes, conversion rates, and revenue performance to support strategic decisions
⁠Identify opportunities to improve customer stickiness, reduce churn, and enhance pricing effectiveness
⁠Collaborate with Treasury, Operations, Marketing, Growth, and Compliance teams for aligned execution
⁠Maintain and enhance pricing models, simulations, and analytical frameworks
⁠Track corridor-wise performance and recommend rate adjustments based on data insights
⁠Support promotional campaigns and targeted pricing strategies through CRM segmentation
Conduct performance analysis and A/B testing of pricing strategies to improve outcomes
⁠Develop dashboards and reports to monitor FX trends, spreads, and key performance indicators
⁠ Ensure pricing strategies comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

⁠Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)
⁠2–5 years of experience in FX pricing, treasury, financial analysis, or remittance/fintech domain
⁠Strong understanding of foreign exchange markets and pricing mechanisms
Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; knowledge of Power BI or similar tools is a plus
Ability to interpret market trends and translate them into actionable pricing strategies
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
